In order to maximize our efforts to preserve and perpetuate Hawaiian music and culture, all events in Hawai‘i are free and open to the public. Funding for these events comes from awards, grants, and monetary and in-kind donations.

Support for HIMELE's festivals and educational programs comes from many sources including:
